The Attorney
Talmage is a partner at Shackelford Law Firm’s Dallas office and handles commercial litigation in both trials and appeals. During his 42-year career, he has successfully represented clients in state and federal court lawsuits and arbitrations involving oil and gas, real estate, banking, intellectual property, partnership disputes. Talmage is a highly successful commercial litigator who has received many lifetime achievement awards for his outstanding experience and history as a lawyer as well as the major contributions he has made with the Bar.

Luke Soules Award
- 2022In early December 2022, the State Bar of Texas’ Litigation Section announced that Talmage Boston has been chosen as the recipient of the year’s Luther (Luke) H. Soules III Award for Outstanding Service to the Practice of Law. The annual award is given to an attorney who practices in the litigation arena and embodies excellence in the practice of law, exemplary service to the Bar, and has demonstrated outstanding professionalism and community impact throughout their career. -

Thus, my vocation has opened up another important avocation for me in the arena of onstage interviewing of public figures and best-selling authors at major forums.
